The Hyatt Place General Manager, Jake McHugh, has been engaging with the local communities of Hillingdon, resulting in a partnership with a local Football Club, Hayes & Yeading Football Club, creating employment opportunities for the locals (70% of our colleagues are from the local area), supporting local charities, etc. One of the upcoming initiatives is to clean up the wonderful Minet County Park in July. As a hotel, they are contributing 120 hours to the task and Hayes and Yeading Football Club and a local business, West London Film Studios, have joined hands to contribute to the project.

This park is an important facility for the local community and provides a haven for wildlife as well as being a place for recreation. Other benefits include allowing the local population to enjoy increased physical activity and thus an improvement in quality of life.
