London Chamber of Commerce Online Webinar : Classifying your goods and customs procedure codes
26-04-2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Commodity Codes are the language of International Trade, all industrial goods traded around the world are classified in terms of their relative cost and how they enter the production process. These codes, also known as tariff codes, are internationally recognised reference numbers used to identify products imported or exported. Customs Procedure codes on the other hand are defined HMRC codes required to describe the purpose of overseas shipments. The codes are used to determine how a shipment will be processed and how the duties and taxes, if applicable will be collected.
Smooth transportation of goods and products, will be dependent on the quality of the accompanying paperwork so ensuring you have the correct CPC assigned to your shipment and commodity code to your goods is critical and can be the difference between a successful shipment and a customs compliance nightmare. Join the London chamber and their Trusted Trainers, International Trade Matters in this webinar collaboration where trade expert Mike Court will explore the incredible world of Commodity Coding and Customs Procedure Codes.
