The Hillingdon Chamber of Commerce (HCC) is delighted to confirm the return of the Hillingdon Business Awards, celebrating the outstanding achievements of the borough’s vibrant business community.
Following the success of the inaugural event, the 2026 awards promise to shine an even brighter spotlight on the innovation, resilience and excellence demonstrated by businesses across Hillingdon. From dynamic startups to long-established firms, the borough is home to an incredible variety of businesses that continue to drive local economic growth.
The Hillingdon Business Awards will recognise these contributions across a wide range of categories, giving businesses of all sizes and sectors the chance to be celebrated.
Applications are now open, with the awards ceremony taking place on 29 January 2026. The event will once again bring together business leaders, entrepreneurs, key stakeholders and community members to honour the stories and successes that define Hillingdon’s business landscape.

We are no longer accepting entries for the Awards. But you can still get involved. Buy a ticket for the Awards evening. The ticket price includes:
- Drinks and canapes on arrival.
- A three-course meal with half a bottle of wine.
- Entertainment.
- The Awards presentation.
- Ending the night with a boogie!

Award Categories
Sector Excellence Awards (Micro and SMEs)
The winners of the sector excellence awards could range from a sole trader through to an SME services firm, in their sector or category, based in or operating in the London Borough of Hillingdon. For these categories, judges are looking for an approach that highlights a successful strategy, financial performance, customer delight and innovative approaches.
Business Services Company of the Year (B2B)
Celebrating outstanding business-to-business service providers delivering consistent value, innovation, and client satisfaction. Open to firms excelling in areas such as consultancy, finance, HR, logistics, and other B2B services.
Business Services Company of the Year (B2C)
Recognising exceptional business-to-consumer services across sectors such as wellness, home improvement, events, lifestyle, and more. Judges will look for customer focus, impact, and quality.
Retail/Consumer Business of the Year
Open to retail businesses, either online or premises based. Apart from the general judging criteria, judges will be looking at how the business uses innovative approaches/products to serve its customers.
Creative/Media Business of the Year
For agencies, studios or individuals producing compelling creative work in advertising, design, marketing, publishing, video or digital content. Recognises creativity with business impact.
Education/Training Provider of the Year
Awarded to an organisation making a positive impact through skills development, training or education services- empowering learners of all ages and supporting workforce readiness.
Charity/Social Enterprise of the Year
Celebrates Not-for-Profit organisations or Mission-Led businesses making a measurable difference in Hillingdon through service, innovaion and community engagement.
Technology and Digital Excellence Award
This award recognises a company that demonstrates exceptional innovation, technological prowess and market impact within the tech industry.
Property/Construction Business of the Year
This award recognises excellence in building, development, infrastructure, and real estate services across residential, commercial, or mixed-use sectors.
Sustainability and Innovation Awards
Innovative Company of the Year
For businesses that have demonstrated exceptional innovation—whether through product development, processes, customer delivery, or use of technology to disrupt their sector.
Green/Environmental Company of the Year
Celebrating commitment to environmental responsibility through sustainable practices, eco-friendly innovation, carbon reduction or green supply chain leadership.
Equality, Diversity & Inclusive Company of the Year
This award recognises businesses that champion EDI in their workplace, fostering an environment where all individuals feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and talents.
Corporate Leadership Excellence Awards
The corporate leadership excellence awards are open to corporates employing more than 100 people. They would have demonstrated leadership in their in their sector or category, based in or operating within the London Borough of Hillingdon.
Sustainable Supply Chain Leader
Honours Hillingdon-based corporates embedding sustainability throughout their supply chains, particularly where local SME partnerships or carbon reduction strategies are central to their approach.
Community Partnership Award
Recognises corporate efforts to strengthen community ties by supporting local education, social initiatives, or business development—especially where lasting local impact is clear.
Next Generation Awards
The Next Generation award celebrates the success of young entrepreneurs based in the London Borough of Hillingdon. The category is open to young people who live or go to school in the London Borough of Hillingdon.
Young Entrepreneur of the Year
(Age 16 - 24)
Any idea large or small can be submitted for an award. Maybe you have opened an online store; organised a community project which is growing into something bigger; started a line of goods to sell; or even started on your journey by offering services to friends and family.
Individual Leadership Award
The leader that has gone the extra mile in the past year in their contribution to the local community. Leaders (or their representatives) can nominate themselves for consideration but would usually include references for their Senior Leadership team, peers and team members. Telephone interviews may be conducted where supplementary information is needed for the judging panel.
Hillingdon Business Leader of the Year
The leader that has gone the extra mile in the past year in their contribution to the local community. Leaders (or their representatives) can nominate themselves for consideration but would usually include references for their Senior Leadership team, peers and team members.
Judges' Choice Awards
Hillingdon Best New Business (Under 2 Years)
This award will go to a newly established business (under two years) showing rapid growth, innovation, and strong local engagement.
Hillingdon Business of the Year
Chosen by judges from across all categories. It recognises exceptional overall performance, leadership, innovation, and contribution to Hillingdon’s economy and community.
