International Trade Training and Qualifications

Whether you’re looking to grow your own knowledge or invest in your team, this is one of those member benefits that can genuinely transform how your business operates internationally.

As a Hillingdon Chamber member, you can access trade training courses and qualifications through the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) at their member pricing. That means world class, nationally recognised training at a discount that’s usually only available to LCCI’s own members. It’s a real perk of being part of our community.

The BCC Foundation Award in International Trade

This is the headline qualification and one worth looking into for anyone with international trading ambitions. The British Chambers of Commerce offers a nationally accredited curriculum of import and export courses. Complete any six of the accredited courses and you, or your team member, earns the BCC Foundation Award in International Trade. It’s a qualification that carries real weight and demonstrates genuine expertise to clients, partners and employers alike.

Topics covered include letters of credit, trade documentation, incoterms, customs procedures and import processes, the kind of practical, real-world knowledge that makes a difference from day one.

Why This Matters

LCCI has been helping businesses trade internationally since 1881. That’s a long time and a lot of expertise. The fact that Hillingdon Chamber members can access their training and qualifications at member pricing, without needing a separate LCCI membership, is something the Chamber is really proud to offer as part of what we do for our community.

If you want to find out more or get booked onto a course, get in touch with the Chamber team and we will put you in contact with the correct the right people.
